13th Armored Division - 496th Armored Field Artillery Battalion
In 1941 my dad enlisted in the army right out of high school. He ended up in the 13th Armored Division - 496th Armored Field Artillery Battalion. A small box camera which was used to take the cameo photos presented here. The photos cover from the battalion's training in Texas, their encampment in France (Camp Atlanta), fighting their way across Germany, to boarding a troop ship for the trip home. The photos are not in any particular order.
